Coronavirus | Long COVID risk: Here’s how these vital organs are affected by post COVID syndrome

Brain fog and cognitive difficulties, which could age the brain by upto 10 years time is a common complaint by COVID long haulers.

There are also case studies globally which support the fact that COVID patients can develop complications like seizures, mild or severe inflammation, psychiatric issues, post-traumatic illnesses, insomnia, dizziness, blurred vision and impaired olfactory senses, weeks or months after having fought off the disease.

A recent report tabled by experts from King’s College, London also found that post COVID syndrome could also leave patients at an increased likelihood for developing severe mental health disorders like dementia, Alzheimer’s’ and Guillain-Barre syndrome.
