Recalling memories from the film’s shoot, work experience, and more, ace actor Rahul Bose recently opened up about the film and told ETimes exclusively, “I look back with mixed feelings because Anant Balani had directed the film and he passed away while we were making the film. We had become friends because he had a great sense of humour and we vibed very well, so his demise was very disturbing. Then Sudhir Mishra came on board but he had made a lot of changes that brought the grittiness of the street into the film. All in all, it was a great team replacing Anant.”
Talking about co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan, he further added, “Working with Kareena was very easy because she’s really talented. She was a massive star at that time and was very hardworking. Her performance was always spot on and we bonded very well. I remember we only shot at night, it was the most grueling part of the film. From the start of the film till the end, I was always drenched in the film, all the time. So, I used to just pour a bucket of water over my head and start shooting. I could have caught a cold but I didn’t.”
Currently, Rahul Bose is working on several exciting OTT projects- including the most recent one with filmmaker Srijit Mukherjee. He even bagged the Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Male) award at Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards.
