Buzz on the film has been that it will take off from where Shah Rukh-led ‘Pathan’ ends. Reportedly, Salman has a few minutes role in the climax of ‘Pathan’. The first schedule of ‘Tiger 3’ will be in Mumbai and will kick off sometime in March 2020, mostly the third week. The second schedule will take Salman and Katrina to the Middle East and the third and final schedule is likely to be in Mumbai again. ETimes has it that the third part of the Tiger series will be set on a more lavish scale than the first two. The Middle East shoot could involve several countries and the modalities of that are currently being worked out keeping the COVID numbers in mind. The antagonist of ‘Tiger 3’ has still not been finalised. Producers Yash Raj Films want to cast a relatively new face in that slot as they did with Sajjad Delafrooz in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai‘
Katrina is already working on her outfits of Tiger 3. A source says, “It is not
pucca that ‘Tiger 3’ will remain the film’s title, but in all probability it will not be changed. On date, it’s a working title.” ‘Tiger 3’ will be directed by Maneesh Sharma. The first part ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ was helmed by Kabir Khan and the second ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ by Ali Abbas Zafar, who is working on another film with Katrina. He had previously told us, “I don’t need a man opposite Katrina in my film. And, we will be shooting in Poland, Georgia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Uttarakhand.”
Salman and Katrina have previously played the lead pair in ‘Yuvvraaj’, ‘Partner’, ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. ‘Bodyguard‘ had Katrina in only a song, while Salman made a brief appearance in ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani’ playing himself. In ‘Hello’, both made special appearances.
