Coronavirus: How to deal with post-COVID syndrome and its lingering symptoms? | The Times of India


While nothing has been confirmed up until now, different studies have suggested that post-COVID recovery period can take a lot of toll on people. According to the National Institute of Health, Britain (NIH), possibilities of an infection can not only multiply in post-COVID patients, but can also trigger various multi-pronged attacks on the different organs of the body.

That said, people who are most likely to experience post-COVID syndrome and its lingering symptoms are as follows.

– Adults over the age of 50.

– People who suffered with severe COVID symptoms.

– Individuals with pre-existing health conditions, particularly cardiopulmonary issues, hypertension, diabetes or obesity.
