The girls – Jisso, Lisa, Jennie and Rosé, on Thursday announced that their highly anticipated gig ‘The Show’ will be postponed to January 31, 2021. In a video message to all their fans, the girl-band cited COVID-19 restrictions as the main reason for the show getting delayed.
“In order to comply with the Korean COVID-19 prevention guidelines and to ensure a safe performance, unfortunately, we have made the decision to postpone THE SHOW from December 27th to January 31st of next year,” Jisso said in the video.
Following the announcement, the band also released new posters and a new promotional video to spread the word.
BLACKPINK made waves in the music scene with the release of their studio album titled ‘THE ALBUM’. The K-Pop girl-group broke several records with their chart-topping songs that took over radio waves the world over.
Meanwhile, BTS, who held a successful virtual concert during the lockdown, will be back on the big stage, for an upcoming New Year’s gig. The big virtual event is set to take place on December 31st, thus ending 2020 with a bang!
