Riddhima Kapoor confirms that Neetu Kapoor has tested negative for Covid-19 with a cheerful selfie – Times of India


Riddhima Kapoor confirmed on Instagram that her mother Neetu Kapoor has tested negative for Covid today. The veteran actress had tested positive while she was shooting for her film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ in Chandigarh. After the diagnosis, Ranbir had reportedly arranged for an air ambulance for Neetu Kapoor and airlifted her to Mumbai. “Thank you for all your good wishes & prayers – My mother has tested Covid negative today,” Riddhima had shared with a cheerful selfie.

On Thursday, Neetu Kapoor had shared in a statement about her diagnosis, “Earlier this week, I tested positive for COVID-19. All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response. I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor’s advice and feeling better. I am so grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe, wear a mask and keep safe distance. Take care.” Speaking to ETimes, Neetu’s brother-in-law Randhir Kapoor had said on Thursday, “Neetu has quarantined herself at home. Having said that, she is asymptomatic and recovering well.”

Varun Dhawan and Maniesh Paul had also tested positive for Covid-19, while Anil Kapoor had confirmed that he had tested negative.
