Ranveer Singh is all set to step into legendary cricketer Kapil Dev’s shoes in Kabir Khan’s upcoming sports drama ’83’. While fans are excited to see him in a completely new avatar on the silver screen, we came across this old throwback photo of Ranveer posing with MS Dhoni.

The ‘Padmaavat’ actor had taken to social media a few months back to pen a long note for MS Dhoni along with a series of throwback pictures and how their friendship has evolved over the period. From confessing being a huge Dhoni fan to sharing his story behind his first photo with the popular cricketer, Ranveer dedicated this post to Dhoni. Check out the post here:

Meanwhile, Ranveer has been keeping his fans on their toes with his unmissable posts and quirky sense of style. He was even snapped along with his wife Deepika Padukone near the Gateway of India as she had stepped out to head to Alibaug for Shakun Batra’s upcoming film’s shoot.

On the professional front, Ranveer has been busy with Rohit Shetty‘s ‘Cirkus’ which also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma in pivotal roles. Apart from this, he will also be seen making a cameo appearance in Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’.
